We are looking for a technically trained person to assist in the collection and organization of financial data, programming of data storage and manipulation routines, and programming and execution of basic statistical analyses on financial data.  The successful candidate will assist in developing efficient database table design and retrieval code using SQL to map relevant data into the Matlab Financial Toolbox structures, and develop secondary data structures as needed to integrate new financial data types into the Matlab environment.  The programming of a "sanity check" library to test the integrity of the data will be required.  All coding will require error catching and graceful recovery.  The ability to implement new statistical analyses, with an emphasis on time series methods, will be required.  In addition, execution and reporting of previously coded analysis in support of daily investigations will be needed.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

·         A willingness to learn additional programming languages as needed
Helpful but not required:
·         SQL and query writing experience
·         Experience with Matlab GUI design
·         Experience with Matlab Financial Toolbox
·         Statistical Financial Analysis
Salary to be determined depending on experience.  We will tailor the role based on the best fit from the applicant pool.
